Ive been blabbing on my twitter how the past days have been so full of great news!  It is indubitable how this day's greatness just tops it all.  

Royal Wedding

Royal Wedding makes history as Prince William, heir to the British crown, marries a commoner Kate Middleton.  They are now officially known as Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. What a fairytale don't you agree?

Ombudsman Resigns

On local news, the notoriously unfavored Ombudsman Merceditas Gutierrez rendered her official resignation to President Aquino.  This certainly gets the gears rolling for the appointment of the next Ombudsman to take her post.  Hopefully we wont get a rotten egg again.

Blessed John Paul

The most beloved Pope in our times, Pope John Paul II, was beatified last Sunday.  This is another first in history as this is the first time that the current Pope seeks to canonize his immediate predecessor.  The Catholic Church is on a crisis with all the abuse accusations thrown to their clergy.  Let us pray to Blessed John Paul that despite all these, faith continues to endure.

Osama Bin Laden is dead!

United States President Obama shared the most elating news to the American people and to the world.  The dreaded terrorist Osama Bin Laden is now dead and that his body is with American custody.  Although this does not end the war on terrorism, this brings hope to us peace loving nations that hate can be subdued.  Today many will sleep soundly in their beds well except for the guy who unknowingly did a live tweet on the Osama raid. Another one for World Peace yo!  Best news ever!

The royal couple and this royal wedding is testament to how the times have indeed changed.  William and Kate is the perfect affirmation to the fact that people do marry for love and that love need not be a whirlwind romance for it to be worth swooning about.  Oh what many would give to have a love like theirs!

At least mainstream entertainment has momentarily distracted me from too many Romeo and Juliet tragedies and masochist sexual repressions of Edward and Bella.

But please Cupid stay away from me just yet, I have a life to live.  Love isnt exactly in my scheme of things.  Do have that "the one" guy on stand by though! ^^

Ive got plans you know!  Like finish law school and get an "Atty." prefix on my name.

It's Monday again and I didnt even notice!  My weekends are always jam-packed with my cousins literally crowding my bedroom space.  My room is probably just a little over 3x4 meters, it amazes me how 6 vavavoom girls can fit in.  It's all crazy in good fun way.  If we're not having mixed cocktails we are definitely ordering in food by midnight.  We are a very tight like that.

Anyhoo, here's another set of Monday questions to throw in!

1.  Caesar Salad or Garden Salad?

- If Caesar Salad is the one with croutons and cheese then that's the one I like.  Im really bad at getting to know food names.  Im the type who wolf everything down then ask questions later for small talk.  I thank heavens I dont have a serious food allergy or my gluttonousness would surely prove to be catastrophic!

-  Not really a fan of Monarchs.  I might though, just to admire the extravagance and the parade of exquisite wardrobes.  Just to gawk, thats all.

-  Since I havent been employed for the past 3 years (FYI: Im a law student - Its not an excuse I know!), the "you" here would mean my parents.  The last time they spent lots of money on me was just a few days ago to pay for my new hair color! hahahaha!  Im not married, Im 25 and yes Im a brat!

4.  Window seat or aisle seat?

- Window seat!  I hate it when Im disturbed or distracted by airplane people who walks to and fro the narrow airplan aisle.  Trust me you dont want to be on the receiving end of my genuinely annoyed stares.  Besides, the view from the sky is just too magnificent to pass up.

5.  Do you know your blood type?

- O+.  You should know your blood type, believe me it's going to save your life!
